Food Menu

Although HIDE is firmly rooted in the Deep Ellum cocktail scene, exceptional food has become synonymous with the guest experience at our Deep Ellum bar. HIDE’s made from scratch food draws its inspiration from many of the comfort foods we have all enjoyed over the years. Giving these classics an upscale facelift allows HIDE to serve up the best bar food in Deep Ellum and according to many, the best bar food in Dallas.

Like its cocktail menu, HIDE’s food menu is kept consistently fresh and exciting. In short, the culinary team aims to create bar food as unique and enjoyable as the cocktails we serve every night at our Deep Ellum bar. Twice per year, HIDE’s culinary team lets their creative juices flow, experimenting with new, fresh ingredients and techniques, resulting in food menu additions specific to the season.

HIDE’s Deep Ellum bar serves comfort food classics such as Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Double Cheeseburgers, Fried Chicken Sandwiches and more, with every food menu item having an upscale twist. HIDE serves its Deep Ellum guests a Grilled Cheese Sandwich with 3 white cheeses including French Crème Brie, sliced green apples and crisp bacon, all served on thick cut parmesan sourdough.  At our Deep Ellum bar, guests also enjoy the Fried Chicken Sandwich that was named on “The Greatest Dallas Sandwiches of 2017” list by the Dallas Observer. The Observer raved about HIDE’s sandwich by saying, “The best fried chicken sandwiches are a high-wire act of heat, crackling skin, creaminess and sweetness. Some don’t quite nail the walk, and they topple with overdone, bone-dry chicken or a pool of store-bought mayonnaise. Hide’s fry is light and thin with a buttermilk bath and coat of seasoned flour. Pickled Fresno peppers are faintly sweet. After a few bites, they’ll introduce some mind-slicing heat.”

The food at our Deep Ellum bar has been so well received that Thrillist honored HIDE on its list of “Best New Restaurants that Opened in Dallas in 2017.” HIDE is first and foremost a Deep Ellum bar where cocktails are king, but we really appreciate the shout out to our great bar food!

Please join us soon and enjoy our food. We believe you will agree when we say we serve the best bar food in Deep Ellum and quite possibly the best bar food in Dallas. And, don’t forget to enjoy one or more of your favorite HIDE cocktails with your food!
